Visitors to Hemel Hempstead will be able to find out about the issues affecting disabled people during an event to raise awareness.
Accessible Dacorum is hosting a Disabled Awareness Day in the town centre on Saturday, June 22. The community-based project made up of businesses, voluntary sector organisations and disabled people, which aims to identify and resolve some of the barriers that people with disabilities in Dacorum face, will be hosting information stalls.
The group is also inviting people to share their stories and issues on its new website www.accessibledacorum.org.uk
