A private care home says it is addressing ‘issues’ raised during a visit by the health and social care watchdog.
Mountbatten Lodge in Old Crabtree Lane was visited by inspectors from the Care Quality Commission on Thursday and Friday.
The Bennetts End care home, which specialises in looking after people with dementia, is run by Quantum Care, which said: “We can confirm that there was a planned CQC inspection, for which we are awaiting the report. Issues raised during feedback from inspectors are being addressed and the health, safety and welfare of residents remains our top priority.”
The company would not disclose the nature of the issues and the report is expected to be published within the next month.
