A woman who missed out on her dream of sky diving with her dad because of her weight is now determined to achieve her goal in his memory.

Charlie Lane, of Hemel Hempstead town centre, had always struggled with her weight and confidence, but losing her dad and turning 30 in the space of 18 months has spurred her into changing her lifestyle.

As well as embarking on a radical 90 day weight loss programme, Charlie has also left her temptation-ridden job at chocolate company Thorntons to promote the regime.

She said: “My dad died of cancer but it had always been our dream to sky dive together. Now I am doing it for Macmillan Cancer Care and Iain Rennie. I have to lose weight by September as it is booked.”

Formerly a size 24, Charlie has lost a stone and a half in just seven weeks.

She will be hosting a ‘90 day challenge’ party for anyone interested in losing weight on Tuesday, July 9 from 7pm at Hemel Hempstead Town football club. Call personal trainer Aaron Phillips on 07951 225150 to book a free place.
