A Hemel Hempstead insurance broker is encouraging nearby businesses to get involved in its Keep Trade Local campaign.
Just Insurance Services in Boundary Way has lobbied its Maylands neighbours into supporting its message of using Dacorum or Herts-based suppliers wherever possible.
The campaign is part of a wider project by its parent company Cullum Capital Ventures, which has set up a dedicated Facebook page. Users registering the 500th and 1000th ‘likes’ will get shopping vouchers for independent stores in their area.
Regional director Rob Simpson said: “This is about getting Maylands businesses on board with the campaign and supporting local suppliers. We will also be fostering relations with other Hemel Hempstead businesses further by offering insurance drop-ins outside of work hours, where they can ask any questions they may have.”
