A grandmother who put her gallstones up for sale on auction site eBay has flogged them to the one and only bidder - for 99p.
The online shopper - a warder at Hampton Court Palace - wants to show them to visitors at the regal tourist attraction.
Anita Crawley, of Lower Barn, Hemel Hempstead, decided to post them on the shopping website after discovering them tucked away in a desk drawer. She had previously mislaid them.
The 66 year old, who works for the Hospice Lottery, underwent surgery around two years ago to remove the 42 gallstones that were causing her so much pain it forced her to walk with a stoop.
