A village crime prevention event was held in response to three burglaries that happened in the area - more than a year ago.
The rural operation support and Dacorum safer neighbourhood teams hosted the awareness day at Trowley Bottom Farm in Flamstead where advice leaflets were dished out and horse saddles police marked.
In May last year a significant amount of horse tack equipment, farming machinery and tools were taken in three burglaries.
Sgt Jamie Bartlett said: “Although crime in rural areas is low, it does still exist and we are fully prepared to tackle this through the rural operation support team and our rural officers based within local safer neighbourhood teams.
“We are very keen to keep abreast of what is happening in rural communities, so please do let us know if you witness any suspicious activity or if you have any concerns.
