A club hopes to get more girls into gliding with discounted flying sessions for women on Saturday.
The London Gliding Club on Tring Road, Dunstable, wants to encourage more women to enter the world of aviation with a trial flight or one day course, comprising three flights, which are now available at the club’s base at the foot of the Dunstable Downs for the first time.
Organisers say the taster day is suitable for any women who are interested in learning about the sport of gliding, or simply want to experience the stunning views.
