If you head along to Hemel Hempstead’s bus station on Sunday you might be forgiven for thinking you have gone back in time.
Because all sorts of vintage buses will be on display at the Waterhouse Street transport hub from 10am to 5.30pm.
The annual event is one of three ‘running days’ organised each year by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society, and it’s not just a chance to look at the buses of years gone by – the venerable vehicles will also be running on routes around the town and you can hop aboard.
