Students at Hemel Hempstead’s Astley Cooper School are celebrating after the safe return of their mascot cat.
Black and white puss Minx went missing for over a week before she was found two miles away at Adeyfield School.
Head teacher of the Grovehill School Eddie Gaynor said: “Minx is a familiar sight at the school and we’re very pleased she’s been found.”
The friendly three-year-old moggy is popular with staff and students, and is a regular visitor to the school grounds.
She lives in The Glen, Grovehill with owner and Astley Cooper pupil Tamzin Storrow, 13, who hand-reared her from four days old. Tamzin said: “I’m so happy she’s back home now.”
