Following the success of last weekend’s Christmas lights switch-on events, Hemel Hempstead’s Riverside Shopping Centre will host more festive fun this Saturday.

A Christmas gift fair will be held from 10am to 5pm, raising funds for Dacorum mayor Penny Hearn’s chosen charity The Pepper Foundation, which provides funds for Pepper children’s nurses managed by Rennie Grove Hospice Care.

Continuing the mall’s weekly live music offerings – which kicked off last week with the Swingtime Sweethearts band – musicians the Silk Street Santas will entertain those looking out for the perfect present from 11am to 2pm.

From 3pm until the end of the day shoppers will also be serenaded by the Maple Grove Primary School choir.

Riverside centre manager David Robinson said: “We are really looking forward to hosting the Christmas gift fair and I am sure there will be some fantastic gifts and treats on offer. The Pepper Foundation is a great charity and I hope we see lots of support.”
