COMPANIES that want to raise their profile in Dacorum can sponsor some high-profile events in the borough, including a carnival to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
On the diamond jubilee holiday on Monday, June 4, there will be a carnival in Hemel Hempstead as well as a fireworks display in the evening.
The carnival will be in procession through Hemel Hempstead, depicting the decades of the Queen’s reign from the 1950s to the present day.
The procession of six floats, including one from Hemel Hempstead Town Centre Partnership, will finish in Gadebridge Park where activities and performances will take place all day and through to the night time.
There will be the national lighting of 2,012 UK beacons and, at 10.30pm a firework display.
Sponsorship of the complete fireworks event is available for £5,000. For that, firms get a logo and contact details prominently in the programme as well as the opportunity to display business banners/advertising board around Gadebridge Park as sponsors of the fireworks. Sponsorship of a stage for performances is also up for grabs at £5,000.
