A community centre is calling all gardeners for help to fill and look after its empty-looking flower beds.
Volunteers at the centre in Bennetts End, Hemel Hempstead, hope to take in donations of surplus bulbs and seeds from keen gardeners nearby. They also need help tending the flower beds once they are sown.
Centre manager Sharon Lowe said: “If you sow too many plants this spring we would gladly be able to make use of them. Also if anyone would like to help with weeding or planting they can pop in or give us a call.”
