The PCSO for Boxmoor and Chaulden held his monthly surgery at St John’s Church on Thursday and sent out a message of reassurance to locals - even though the church itself was recently burgled.
In a video for hemeltoday.co.uk, Daniel McManus encouraged anyone with policing issues or concerns about crime in the area to talk to him either at the sessions, which he will advertise on Twitter through the @HemelWestPolice account, or to ask for him when dialling the non-emergency number 101.
St John’s, where PCSO McManus usually holds the drop-ins, was broken into last month and around £180 in charity donations was stolen.
