Tickets are on sale for an annual golf day and gala dinner that has so far raised £400,000 towards research into a type of bone cancer that often strikes in young people.
The Adam Dealey Golf Day and Gala Dinner is now in its 17 year and was founded by parents John and Marian Dealey, of Boxmoor, who lost their son to Ewings Sarcoma in 1994.
The fundraiser on Friday, October 4 kicks off with golf at the Verulam Golf Club with teams of four taking part in the Stapleford Competition.
This is followed with a gala dinner at Sopwell House where among the prizes up for grabs on the night will be a holiday.
Tickets for golf and dinner cost £105 per person and tickets for the evening event alone cost £50 each.
