Transport firm Furnells took part in the green- themed Lord Mayor’s Show in London.
The Hemel Hempstead company was asked by James Dixon of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisors to provide a vehicle to carry their ‘Green Taxes Make the World Go Round’ message.
Furnells also provided two of its staff to drive the lorry which carried a globe with an owl on top that had been made from plastic bags by Amanda Callis.
The globe tied in with the green theme, while the owl is the symbol of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
The lorry also carried a jazz band and cadets for the historic procession.
